The Restaurant
Our restaurant offers the best in local cuisine in a delightful setting. Chef Patron Bruce Robson's & Frank Hocking's cuisine has won awards (Food Rosette at a previous hotel + Grade 1 Piano merit.) We have expanded our catering team and aim to regain rosette status in the near future. We are lovers of fine food and wine and aim to provide a service to the high standards we would expect ourselves. Our menu changes frequently so that you may sample the best produce that the season has to offer, here are two example menus that our guests have previously enjoyed. Wine list. We take enormous pride in our wines. Our merchant is recognised as one of the finest in the country. Our menu is available 7 days a week, and is subject to availability. Booking is advisable please contact reception. Evening Dinner £18.50 to non residents or £15 for B&B guests wanting to take dinner. Guests are asked to take their seats in the restaurant between between 7pm & 8pm sunday to thursday and 7pm – 8.30pm friday & saturday. Delete last sentence as we now offer b&b breaks so inaccurate In addition to our excellent food, and Wine we have a comprehensive Whisky List. Indeed a guest spending a week on DBB will pay just £5 more per day than someone of just B&B for the whole week).
